Broadcast RF travelled to all corners of The British Isles this weekend for the opening fixtures of the Autumn Internationals 2014.
On site at four of the most reputable stadiums in Rugby Union, the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and Twickenham Stadium in London, a total of 17 HD wireless radio camera systems were deployed for live match coverage.
All 8 of the nations that were in action are featured in the IRB World Rankings Top 10, each looking to make a bold statement to their opponents with the Rugby World Cup 2015 less than a year away.
Amongst the systems used over the weekend, our Q-Ball Pole Cam System was utilised to offer an alternative viewing experience with touch-line shots from a bird’s eye view.
Whilst Australia were narrowly victorious over Wales, New Zealand defeated England and Scotland triumphed against Argentina. The shock result of the weekend though saw Ireland batter South Africa 29 – 15.
With three weeks of the completion left things are far from over, and Broadcast RF will be on hand to bring you all of the action throughout the rest of November.
