Broadcast RF were in the thick of the Harry Potter World premier using two of our state of the art 3D Roving Wireless Camera systems.
The two 3D Camera systems were working on the red carpet into Telegenic’s new 3D OB truck. A HD Point to Point RF Link was also supplied to provide HD pictures from the roof of St Martins in the Field Church to the OB base in Trafalgar Square.
The Harry Potter film series finally came to an end on the 7th July 2011 with the release of the 8th film ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two’ in Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar Square had been transformed into Diagon Alley, the high street which features in the films providing Harry and his fellow wizards with magicians magic.
Thousands of fans braved the rain and camped out over night to catch the stars of the film. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson attended with many other cast members that have joined the film franchise over the years such as Helen Bohan Carter and Emma Thompson. The Harry Potter legacy has enthralled millions of fans with not only books and films but also a $250 million theme park based entirely on the novels, JK Rowling has also announced that she is going to write 18000 new words for the new interactive reading website that will bring Harry Potter and friends to life!
With over 14 years of magic, 450 million books sold and the films becoming the highest grossing film series of all time Harry Potter will live on for many years to come.
