|Job Role:||RF Engineer – Outside Broadcast|
Broadcast RF is a rental company providing wireless cameras and microwave links to the broadcast industry. We are continually involved in a huge number of sporting, news and light entertainment events both large and small. Olympic Games, World Cup and European Championship Football, Marathons, Champions League Football, Ryder Cup and The Open Golf, Rugby and Cycling to name just a few.
The role of “RF Engineer” is to provide support for this equipment in the field as well as testing and maintenance in our Dartford based office. On site you will be expected to rig and maintain systems and liaise with the client to get the best out of our equipment. These systems can range from a single wireless camera in a stadium to 25 systems covering a golf course, to helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and motorbikes covering a marathon.
We look to all of our RF engineers to continuously drive our products forward with new ideas and innovations to suit the ever changing world of television broadcast.
The suitable candidate must be prepared to travel both domestically and abroad and work at times when everyone else is sitting down to enjoy these exciting events. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the outside broadcast or related industries is preferred, along with relevant qualifications, however the successful candidate will be chosen based on what as a whole they can bring to the Broadcast RF team. On the job training is provided. Driving license is essential.

Applicants should be prepared to work unsociable hours both in the UK and overseas.The position will involve working weekends and therefore applicants will need a flexible attitude to their working/life balance.
Training will assume no prior knowledge, but a keen interest in technology and engineering is required. Any experience in similar fields would be beneficial to the applicant.
