On Saturday 23rd March 2019 the People’s Vote march took place in London – a demonstration to protest against Brexit and call for a new referendum.
Also known as the ‘Put It to the People march’, the event started on Park Lane and finished in Parliament Square.
Along the parade route were five screens which showed live footage over the course of the day – these were located at the King George III Statue, Great Scotland Yard, The Cenotaph, Whitehall and Parliament Square. Broadcast RF supplied five point to point link systems which were used to send live footage of the march between all of these screens.
It is reported that this rally, organised by the People’s Vote campaign, brought over one million people to the capital just six days before the Government hoped to take Britain out of the EU.
