Broadcast RF supplied wireless cameras at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre this week for the Red Bull Culture Clash, a unique battle-style music event which invited four music ‘crews’ to face each other in a clash that is judged based on nothing more than a decibel meter reading of crowd reaction.
The event, self-proclaimed as the biggest musical battle in the world, brings together acts from the most diverse musical backgrounds. The 2014 competitors were reigning champions Boy Better Know, New York Hip Hop collective A$AP Mob, Jamaican legends Stone Love, and specially formed crew Rebel Sound, who consisted of Chase & Status, Shy FX, MC Rage and DJ David Rodigan.
Broadcast RF supplied 2 HD wireless radio camera systems which operated both in amongst the sold out crowd of over 20,000 people, and on stage with the acts as they done everything they could do get one up on their opponents.
As he monumental battle concluded, it was Rebel Sound who triumphed, after winning three of the four rounds. Reigning champions Boy Better Know finished as runners up by winning one round, whilst A$AP Mob and Stone Love left with nothing to show for their efforts.
